The Hughes Center welcomes Dr. Beverly Mikes, a specialist in Female Rejuvenation
Congratulations to Dr. Mikes for receiving the South Jersey Magazine “Top Docs” award for Top Women’s Physician and Top Children’s Physician for 2015 & 2016.
Dr. Mikes grew up in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. In 1985, she graduated from Cherry Hill High School West. She was elected to Phi Beta Kappa at Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology-Psychology in 1989. Dr. Mikes went on to attend Dartmouth Medical School, receiving her medical degree in 1993.
Dr. Mikes completed an internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Cooper Hospital/University Medical Center, serving as Chief Resident during her final year. Dr. Mikes has held several positions since graduation. Over the years, she has narrowed her focus to Gynecology and Gynecologic Office Procedures.
Dr. Mikes is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and is a member of the Medical Society of New Jersey and the Burlington County Medical Society. She has medical staff privileges at Virtua-West Jersey Hospital in Voorhees, New Jersey.
Dr. Mikes has many clinical areas of interest including, but not limited to, adolescent gynecology, menopausal management, colposcopy, preventative health and complementary and alternative medicine. She prides herself in establishing excellent patient relationships and collaborating with patients to individualize and optimize their care.
In her leisure time, she enjoys music, travel, reading and spending time with her family.
Dr. Mikes is excited to enter the cosmetic world and will play an instrumental role in the launch of noninvasive feminine rejuvenation at The Hughes Center
