Case 15 Surgical Rejuvenation
This 69 year-old did not like looking her age. The wrinkles and pigment on her face bothered her, as did her full neck. She had full face laser resurfacing and neck liposuction, and is shown two weeks after surgery, with makeup on. She is back to her full social activities. It is unusual for neck liposuction to give a good result over 40 because neck banding and tissue laxity shows up. Because she had good a facelift 15 years earlier, it was possible to achieve this result with just liposuction.
