Case 32 Surgical Rejuvenation

This 60 year- old real estate broker came in for facial rejuvenation. She was not sure exactly which procedure would be the best for her, so before her consult she attended one of our complimentary office seminars to become better informed of all the latest choices to pick from.

She had also gone to see another cosmetic surgeon for a surgery plan, but felt more comfortable with our choices and expected results, after having seen other cosmetic patients in our office at the seminar.

The skin wrinkling and discoloration were her biggest concern, as were her sagging eyelids. She had thought an upper and lower eyelid procedure along with a facelift would be recommended. Instead she elected to proceed with a mini scalp incision endoscopic eyebrow and cheek lift, along with full facial CO2 laser skin resurfacing and full facial fat transfer using small needles and her own tummy fat to fill in the facial hollows that come with age.

Her results surprised her, because she had almost all her wrinkles and pigment go away, and even more so because the brow lift had smoothed out her forehead wrinkling that she had had as a young teenager. The smoothness of her skin, and the lifting of her face gave her the youthful appearance she had as a much younger woman, and she felt naturally rejuvenated. Best of all, she never has to wear foundation, and all her friends at her reunion kept telling her she hadn’t changed a bit.
