Case 92 Surgical Rejuvenation
This 60-something woman had two concerns. First was her dads bull neck that she finally decided to do something about, and the dark wrinkled eyelids also made her look older than she felt. She had hesitated to do a facelift, as the traditional large incision frightened her. When I told her I could accomplish the same thing through an incision ½ the size, she wanted to go ahead with her surgery.There are no eyelid incisions when the skin of the lids are lasered, and that pleased her too, even though she knew she was have to soak a lot the first week, and that she would be red for 2-3 months after the eyelid laser, underneath her custom colored makeup. She is seen here 9 months after the surgery. There is some tissue irregularity just under the chin incision, but further internal laser tightening is being contemplated to smooth out her results.
