How Does the Exion Microneedling Device Work?

Artificial Intelligence Technology allows the Exion MN RF device to analyze a patient’s skin type, thickness, and other unique characteristics to determine the optimal energy settings for a treatment, ensuring optimal results. Radiofrequency emanates from the entire length of the needle, so only one pass is required as opposed to other devices.

This precision of energy delivery reduces the risk of damage to surrounding tissues and is able to target specific areas of concern, ensuring optimal results with minimal downtime.

It uses brand new revolutionary technology utilizing monopolar radiofrequency electrical heat energy and combines it with focused ultrasound, which drives down the radiofrequency electric energy deep into the face to create controlled thermal stress. This energy causes revitalization of the skin by stimulating fibroblasts to create more collagen and elastic fibers in the skin layers and enhancing blood circulation.

How Does Exion Face Treatment Work?

Treatment begins with a small grounding pad placed on your back. This serves to ground the radiofrequency electric current that travels through the body as the wand is applied. The Radiofrequency device works by creating heat through the electric current amplified by focused ultrasound energy. The skin responds by increasing blood circulation and stimulates fiberblasts to create collagen and elastic fibers.

A gel is applied on the skin of your face and neck, and the very warm round applicator is massaged in patterns around your forehead, eyes, cheeks, jawline and neck. 

The heat thus delivered at around 42 degrees stimulates the production of more collagen, elastic fibers and hyaluronic acid!  It must be warm to do so, but not painful.  Imagine a gelled hot stone massage of the face.

Blood circulation increases and fiberblasts are stimulated to create 26% more collagen and twice the elastic fibers, while 225% more hyaluronic acid is produced. The skin on the body area is hydrated with fewer lines and wrinkles and better tone and texture in the skin. This treatment is done in 4 weekly treatments to yield results in 6-12 weeks.
